Organisers of the annual World Forum for Foreign Direct Investment, Conway Data and Red Hot Locations, and hosts, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), have announced the dates for next year’s forum. The Sharjah World Forum will take place from 8 to 10 February 2015*.
Held annually in locations around the world, the World Forum provides a platform for FDI dealmakers to network and discuss global location decisions. The 2014 World Forum was held in Philadelphia, USA in June and concluded with the announcement of Sharjah as its next host. Past World Forums have been held in Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Valencia, Bologna, Vilnius, Tallin, Shanghai, and Philadelphia.
“We’re delighted to be bringing the World Forum and the FDI Association to Sharjah for the 2015 Forum,” said Cathy Dawson, President of Red Hot Locations, “The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority is partnering with us to develop a robust program and to create a networking environment that will facilitate the exchange of cross-border business and ideas.”
The World Forum invites economic development agencies to meet and network with corporate investors over the course of three days and to share best practices with colleagues from investment and development agencies from all over the world.
