Mohammed Juma’a Al Musharrakh , Chief Executive Officer of the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) stated that Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) in collaboration with the Russian Business Council hosted the ‘Sharjah-Russia Business Roundtable’ on Wednesday at the House of Wisdom. This event was held in collaboration with the Consulate General of Russia in Dubai and the Russian Business Council (RBC) in the UAE, with the participation of a number of officials in the emirate who presented investment opportunities in various sectors.
He told “Sharjah24” that the Business Forum between Sharjah and Russia discussed opportunities for Russian investors in Sharjah, with the aim of enhancing commercial relations between the two countries, highlighting Sharjah’s strategic position as a key destination for commercial and industrial investment.
Al Musharrakh emphasised that the event underscored the Emirate of Sharjah’s main investment sectors and investment prospects. The Emirate is targeting the Russian market through the offers presented to Russian investors, especially as Sharjah is witnessing an influx of Russian investments in the real estate sector, as a result of changes to several rules that permit foreign investors to hold 100% of the real estate there.
